Patient archetype 01
The Intractable Epilepsy Parent
"My child has 300 seizures a day, the consultant is our only path."
Condition
Refractory paediatric epilepsy (Dravet, Lennox-Gastaut, CDKL5). Failed by 3 to 6 antiepileptics.
Decision speed
Immediate. A status epilepticus ICU admission is the trigger event.
